2010 REPORT

Another great day and turnout at our
annual Sigma Beta Day in Florida, 2010. Sixteen ladies with 637
years representing Sigma Beta enjoyed the reminiscing, and food
(the Bloody Mary wasn't bad either.) Yes, Patsy, you enjoyed
yours as well!
We had some business to discuss and make decisions; one of those
decisions was whether or not more ladies might be able to attend
if the luncheon was held on Saturday instead of Friday. So the
consensus was next year we would give it a try. So, the SB
luncheon will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011; same time and
same place. So all you past Sigma Betas that could never attend
because we met on Friday, now is your opportunity to join us on
Saturday in 2011. Mark your calendar right now while you have
the date in front of you. Will be looking forward to seeing you
and renewing old friendships.
Carolyn Morgan brought her 50-50 raffle tickets for us all to
get a chance at winning. The drawing is being held on March
15th. Peg read letter from Ann Mariani regarding 2 pearl and
sapphire sorority pins donated by Candy Morr and Carolyn Tungate.
The PP (Past Presidents) Club is selling raffle tickets for 2
lucky members to win. Proceeds will go to National Charity Fund
in their mother and aunts names, Edna Greiner and Violet
Heliotes. Peg took in $25 and will be sending a check to Annie
in that amount along with the names for the tickets to be placed
in the lucky pot. Please be generous and buy all the tickets you
want now because NO, I repeat NO tickets will be sold at
convention. We thank Epsilon Theta for letting us do this
drawing and to see the lucky winners in person. BUY BUY
BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ladies that bought tickets yesterday
told me not to mail the stubs back to them, they trust me. So, I
am hoping if you need
more tickets that you would feel the same about not wanting to
use money to mail tickets back to you. Would be just that much
less going into the National Treasury. If you really want the
stubs returned to you please enclose a self-stamped envelope
along with your money. THANKS

Everyone was so thankful for Sigma Beta as a couple of ladies
didn't have any sisters, but by joining Sigma Beta they
instantly had many sisters. Hopefully,
we will get some old (not in age) friends available to come next
year being we are meeting on Saturday. DID YOU WRITE THAT DATE
DOWN??? NO???? PLEASE
DO IT RIGHT NOW!!!!! ALSO, MAKE A NOTE TO SEND YOUR MONEY AND
