Sigma Beta Sorority, Inc. is a national philanthropic organization and membership is open to any woman who is interested in helping others and having fun while doing so. Members come from all walks of life and various ages.

Sigma Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded in 1923 in Fort Wayne, Indiana by Sophia Maier Johnston. It is one of the oldest philanthropic sororities with many projects to its credit.

The Sophia Maier Johnston Memorial Scholarship offers grants to disabled college students. Since 1973 scholarships have been awarded totaling over $100,000.

Sigma Beta turned 90 in 2013 and that means it's time to go home to Fort Wayne, IN, to mark this very special anniversary! The hostess chapters are already working hard to make it special and memorable for sisters of all ages! Be sure to watch the Convention Page for updates in the coming months.
